Lauren Garcia is a Research Associate at the Metiri Group. Ms. Garcia has extensive experience coordinating research studies and conducting statistical analyses using SPSS as well as considerable experience creating and coding observation and interview protocols.
She holds a Masters degree in applied social research and evaluation. Prior to joining the Metiri group, Lauren worked as a study coordinator at AIDS Project Los Angeles, where she coordinated research studies for the Network for AIDS Research in Los Angeles (NARLA), and with AIDS orphans in Kenya. Ms. Garcia worked on the Reading First Evaluation in elementary schools, for the Research and Evaluation Department of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD.
Lauren is the primary data designer and analyst for the Metiri Group and has been instrumental in the design, analysis, and reporting of measurement tools. She works across multiple projects and provides consulting on the validity of measures, leveraging her strong understanding of unbiased evaluation design.
